Penny Black Jubilant

Penny Black Jubilant by judkajudy

I've been away from my blog for a few days and it seems like forever!  I have been CLEANING!  We are expecting out of town company in a few days and it was a good excuse to get the Spring cleaning done.  Now we have to wait for the company and Spring!!
I watercolored the Penny Black stamp "Jubilant" using Distress inks and re-inkers. I then cut out the flower and placed it on the background that was created using Creative Die Interlocking also by Penny Black. I love the Penny Black floral images; they are so easy to color and look so good when done!!  The Interlocking die is one that I will use often.  Everything looks good when placed on it.
I will be entering this card in Virginia Lu's new challenge where the theme is watercoloring.  I've put my toys away for now and will be back on Monday, after the company leaves.  It will be a short visit, but they are dear friends and any time spent with them is precious.
Thanks for stopping by.  I hope Spring isn't just a rumor this year.  It has been a long winter for everyone.

By the way, this Saturday March 8th I will be Running with Scissors on the Penny Black blog!  Would love to see you there.

What a gorgeous card, Judy! I thought you used embossing paste on your background, but then I read that it's a DIE?? It's beautiful! And yay for early Spring cleaning! Enjoy your guests and hope to see you running with scissors soon!

BEAUTIFUL card, Judy! I love the background for your water-colored floral image! Way to go on starting Spring cleaning! I will start Spring cleaning when Spring actually arrives--not sure when (or if ever!). I love seeing your presence over PB. I may not always comment, but sure do not miss any of your posting! So glad that you join the first Virginia's View Challenge!
