I colored this sweet little bee with Copics and fussy cut her out and popped her onto cardstock that had been embossed with a Cuttlebug folder. She looks right at home among those flowers.
I am busy as a bee getting ready for a five day crafty retreat in Cincinnati. I will be meeting some of my stamping idols and blogging friends for the first time. I have gathered all the supplies that will fit in my rolling backpack and have my clothes set aside. It looks like there is a warming trend in Ohio and I won't have to take a winter coat; thank goodness.
Poor Cooper has caught onto the meaning of a suitcase ... he seems to realize someone is leaving. He will be happy when he figures out it is me, not his beloved Larry!
I tried mightily to lose ten lbs. before this trip and have been frustrated that I wasn't able to meet that goal. I do have a clue, though, about what the problem could be. I have been eating large salads for lunch every day, enjoying my favorite cherry balsamic dressing. Yesterday I read the label; 110 calories per TWO TABLESPOONS. I hate to even think about how much dressing I was pouring onto my salads. Lesson learned, I guess. I think I liked life better when we didn't know the calorie count of our food.
Hope your Monday is filled with sunshine and flowers. It might be too early for bees, though. Thanks for stopping by.
