Photos and photo albums have been on my mind lately, especially since my youngest son presented me with two more boxes of photos and photo albums that I had left in his care when we retired and took to the road in our RV. I have plastic totes and boxes of photos stashed in almost every closet. These are not only the photos I have taken over the years, but also those that belonged to my parents and my grandmother!!
I have begun the tedious process of labeling them and putting them into loose chronological order. This is a gigantic task, not only because of the volume of photos, but because each one evokes a memory that has to be explored and shared with whomever may be around!
The challenge word at CASology this week is "Family". So, for now, family means photo albums and memories! This image reminds me of my sister and I; she the big sister, me clinging to her hand believing I was safe as long as I hung on.
The sisters stamp is from a company called Great Impressions from Olympia, Washington. Most probably that company is no longer in existence as this is a very old stamp! It remains one of my favorites because of the memories it brings back.
Not sure if this card is clean and simple enough for the challenge, but it is a card that insisted on being made!
Cooler weather has arrived for us this week for which we are thankful! Great weather for packing my suitcase for the trip to Scrapfest. I'm so glad you stopped by.

Love this post, Judy! I know what you mean about looking through those old photos and the memories they bring - it's not an easy job having to put them all in order, but so good that you're doing it for all the generations to come!
Love that darling image - so sweet - the way you've colored it and the cute photo corners make it even more charming!
See you in five days! YAY!! :)

Darling card, Judy, and loved the story.......in our house, I'm the big sis and I took my role very seriously......so much so that I got a little pushy - my sisters called me "Madame Queen", because I was always telling them what to do, how to do it, etc.......
This is a perfect, perfect sister card, Judy! (I've been there with the photo organization and know what an arduous task it is - and emotional - and fun!)

Love your creative take on the photo theme. Wonderful family card! Thanks so much for playing along with CASology this week!
Judy, this card and your post evoke lots of memories for me, too! I am also a "little sister" and I depended on my big sister for so much (still do!). I love this image, and your coloring and layout are both superb. Thanks for sharing such a lovely story behind your card...really made me smile today!
Love your card and your take on the cue word! Reminds me of my sister and I way back when, or our two daughters who are very close--because they only had each other!
Hope you're having fun walking down memory lane! My mom left behind a boxful of photos and sadly, I don't know who many of the people are...Wish I asked her before her illness!
Your card made my heart melt Judy then you shared your story of your photo sorting, it reminded me of a recent visit to one of my photo boxes where I sat for hours with a big grin on my face just remembering happy things!
Judy your card made me think of my sister...however, I am the older one...and our strong bond! Enjoy sorting your photos and reminiscing.
