Shadow Stamp Revisited!

100_4660 by judkajudy
The challenge this week at CASology is to use the word "bird" for inspiration! Since I am a very literal person, I decided that my challenge entry should have a bird on it!!

I used a very old Hero Arts shadow stamp as the background for the Inkadinkadoo bird and branch stamp. I thought the blue and gray tones needed a splash of color for a bit more visual interest and so I added the green ribbon a little green "jewel".

Last weekend we drove to Atlanta for a visit with family and Cooper went along. Poor Cooper! He was terribly car sick ... made worse by the fact he insists on riding on the floor of the car instead of up on the seat!

After he recovered from his wooziness, he enjoyed playing with my son's dog, Spencer. This was a big improvement over the first time they met!!

Next adventure coming up: a trip to Milwaukee to help our newly-married son and his wife move to their new home. We will be wielding paint brushes and cleaning, and cooking for the moving crew! Can't wait!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Yay for shadow stamps! I always loved the look of one under a crisp image. This card falls into the "gorgeous" category! I feel like I should redeem myself with something G rated....

Awww, poor Cooper - glad he recovered! He is so darn CUTE!! Love your beautiful card, Judy! You're going to be doing lots of traveling - Milwaukee this month and Minneapolis for Scrapfest in September - that's the one I can't wait for! Hugs! :)
