This adorable Penny Black stamp was a birthday gift from a dear friend! I couldn't wait to ink it up. I agree with Mimi, there is nothing like a warm bubble bath to escape the day's stresses!
I colored the image with Copic markers, using a tissue dampened in rubbing alcohol to go over the bathtub after coloring it. I like the effect! I used the rubbing alcohol to clean up the markers with spots of smeary inks and it worked like magic!
I made the duckie and the ruffle on Mimi's cap three dimensional, using pop dots. I used Diamond Stickles as trim on the bubbles and ruffle; Tim Holtz white enamel on the candles.
Hope you have a chance to relax in your favorite way sometime this weekend! Thanks for stopping by.

Looks like Mimi is having a whale of a time, candle lights and all! Very sweet card Judy!
Judy, there are so many fun, little details on this card! I love the effect you achieved with your coloring, the bits of sparkle are wonderful and the candles look so cool! Awesome card, my friend! :)
I'm with you and Mimi...some candles, a rubber ducky and maybe a little Merlot makes a bubble bath something special! What a perfect birthday gift and a perfect card!
Merlot? Did I hear Merlot? I may never come out of the tub! Love this card and the little details you added, too. Mimi found a good home!
Rub-a-dub CUTE Judy!
